A little extra protection helps, but a careful grip still comes first.

What it is designed to do

Add a layer of hand protection to your styling routine with the Cortex Beauty Heat-Resistant Glove. Its soft, flexible fit works on either hand, helping you handle hair more confidently around heated styling tools.

Your first-use checklist

  1. Check that the glove is clean, dry and free of holes.
  2. Put it on the hand that will guide hair near the tool, keeping your grip comfortable.
  3. Keep fingers away from heated plates and barrels. Use the glove to reduce incidental exposure, not to grasp or hold a hot surface.
  4. Let the tool cool completely before packing the glove alongside it. Follow the glove’s own washing instructions.

The detail worth knowing

This pack contains one glove that can be worn on either hand. Heat-resistant does not mean burn-proof, so check the manufacturer’s contact-temperature and duration limits.

If something does not seem right

If you feel heat through the glove, move away from the hot surface. Replace damaged material and do not double up random fabrics to invent a higher heat rating.

A few questions before your next use

Match your product by the SKU or model on its label, not just its color. If a tutorial shows different controls, attachments or packaging, pause and check that it is the right version. Your order confirmation helps identify a bundle, but each component still has its own instructions.
